I will be reading a selection of space-themed poems at this multi-platform art exhibition at the amazing Favela Chic bar just around the corner from Place de la République. An homage to Bowie through visual arts, literature, and good old-fashioned partying.
Entry is free, the vibe is good, and the amazing artists, including visual creator Fan Aha, are all of the geektastic variety.
The Poetry Brothel, Paris edition, is back. Organised by Gustave & Rosalie, Le Bordel de la Poésie will be held in various locations throughout the Grand Pigalle Hotel on March 16th and 17th, 2016. Private chambers include luxury bedrooms, a vintage car, and a very tight elevator cabin.
For a 5€ token you can enjoy exclusive, face-to-face readings by seasoned poetry whores Yann Rousselot, Ferdinand Legendre, Laura Lutard, Alison Koehler, Alexe Espiand, and Troy Yorke. And let’s not forget our illustrious pimp, Alberto Rigettini, and our saucy little assistants Nia Cason, Maria Sombrin, and Cordelia Senie…
Here are some photos of the event, for your viewing pleasure, and you can check out the full album on Le Bordel’s FB page.
